XAVIER QUEREL is based in Grenoble, France. Since 1990 his main activity has been live film and light performances. He has been a member of “La Cellule d´intervention METAMKINE” since 1991, an internationally known film/music performance group. This time, Querel will give an exceptional live demonstration of the possibilities of a 16mm sound projector. What becomes interesting is the instrument (the projector), the light and the ability of the film-maker to emotionally interact with the spectators, creating a genuine live film. more under:metamkine.free.fr

MARIO DE VEGA Born in Mexico City, 1979 his work overlaps relations between stability, failure, simulation and ambiguity with site-specific interventions, sound events, process-oriented projects, sculpture, modified electronics and sound improvisation.

As an improviser, his practice explores the value of fragility & in-determination involving a wide range of customized objects, analog and modified electronics, turntables and computer based interfaces in different combinations. more under: mariodevega.info

Originally from Mexico, via Montreal and Amsterdam ANGELICA CASTELLO landed in Vienna in 1999, where she still lives and teaches.

Her main instrument is the recorder, which she plays with or without electronics.But not in the case of this performance that will feature a new instrument / object / body.

She plays solo but also with various groups, such as the Low Frequency Orchestra, Los Autodisparadores, Frufru, Cilantro, Subshrubs and Chesterfield. more under: castello.klingt.org
