The exhibition brings together audio and video works developed through performative actions and movement experimentation by Oficina de Autonomia, a loose collective of artists, dancers, musicians and organizers. Emerging from a shared interest in what we may term the hidden sphere, the works gesture toward ways of navigating dominant regimes of intelligibility. This includes songs of disappearance and refusal, exploring states of liminality or becoming-ghost, the making of spaces of love and renewal in times of despair.

Developed and recorded in Curitiba, Brazil, Madrid and Santa Cruz de Tenerife, Spain, and Berlin, the works are situated within an installation integrating an assemblage of drawings, material and sculptural elements, and includes a series of sound performances by guest artists who create live soundtracks to the central video installation, The Ghost Party. In addition, a series of workshops is organized and guided by invited artists, turning the exhibition into a collaborative space for sharing ideas and practices related to the elemental, from water to air to earth.

Oficina de Autonomia is a loose collective of artists, dancers, musicians and organizers focusing on practices of embodiment, locality and social transformation. Their activities span experimental movement and sound practices, dramatic stagings, secret interventions and community organizing, resulting in workshops, exhibitions, publications and poetic theater.
