The recording “Catacryptico” documents the inspiring encounter between very different musicians.

Sebastian Strinning is one of the most interesting representatives of the current free jazz scene in Switzerland. Natalie Peters and Yara Li Mennel from Locarno have been working together for several years and have already played as a duo at several festivals.

Their work is based entirely on a natural, spontaneous use of voice and instrument, which finds ever new aesthetics through their communicative skills.

Jacek Chmiel from Poland, studied in Basel and moves in an exciting field of tension between the deepest listening and powerful, sonorous gestures.

Caroline Cecilia Tallone will enrich this listening session with the extraordinary soundscapes of her electro-acoustic hurdy-gurdy.
