Affected as only a human being can Be – exhibit
of the interactive art book being the base of the art book orchestra
The concert Art Book Orchestra consists of re-compositions of 10 original sound art pieces incorporated in 10 different art books, entitled Affected as only a human being can Be. The live-concert presents artist Konrad Korabiewski performing and interacting with the art books, as unconventional musical instruments (live electronics).
Polish | Danish Konrad Korabiewski (1978) is an experimental multimedia artist, currently residing in east coast of Iceland. As a sound-artist, composer and media artist, Konrad Korabiewski has a minimalist, yet detail-oriented unconventional and experimental artistic approach, characterized by a marked tendency to transgress various genres and media. Focused on absorption, content and substance of art rather than a certain media, he experiments and develops new possibilities for expressing philosophical views and artistic ideologies in sensing music and other art fields.

audiovisual performance using both analog and digital sound and video.
A Super8 projector is used to create analog images using expanded cinema techniques such as film burning. These images are captured in real time, modified digitally, and re-projected along with the Super8 images. A synchronized sound track is created using tapes, bass, electric hums and feedback an improvised live set between dynamic electro-acoustic music and visceral noise.
