When someone hears that you’re from New Jersey, they might respond with the quip, “from which exit?”, a reference to the Garden State Parkway and the extent to which the movement of cars defines the identity and daily life in this corner of the United States.

Artist Izzy Liberti comes from this corner and is now setting up a car dealership in Liebig12!

An installation of woodcuts, ceramics, and animation will be on view from the opening on July 27 until the closing on August 3. Come to Izzy’s Autohaus and meet suburban capitalism’s favorite protagonist, the car saleswoman herself!

Wenn jemand mitbekommt, das einer aus New Jersey kommt, könnte man mit dem Scherz antworten: “aus welchem Ausfahrt?”, eine Anspielung auf den Garden State Parkway und auf den Umfang in dem die Bewegung von Autos die Identität und das tägliche Leben in dieser Ecke der Vereinigten Staaten bestimmt.

Künstlerin Izzy Liberti kommt aus dieser Ecke und baut nun in Liebig12 ein Autohaus auf!
